I spent a week this summer experimenting with some textiles processes that I have not used since I completed my undergraduate degree in Textile Art.

The process that I was particularly interested in was felt making. I use this in combination with a few materials, some new and some not. In one experiment I combined it with sugar.

I used basic embroidery stitches to experiment with mark making. I enjoyed this activity very much.

The results are a small collection of five brooches.  They have in turn led on to further experiments and future work.
